Managing your proxy: renewal, rotation, expiry
Everything about day-to-day proxy management lives on My proxies in your dashboard. This guide explains what each action really does.
Renewal: how the new duration is counted
- Renewing adds the chosen plan's duration from the proxy's current end time — not from the moment you pay. The final end date is confirmed with the provider and can only extend, never shorten, the remaining time.
- Renewal is manual: nothing is charged automatically. Your dashboard highlights proxies entering their last 72 hours so you can decide in time.
- You can pick a different duration on renewal than the original plan — pricing follows the plan and duration you select.
What happens at expiry
An expired proxy stops working and cannot be renewed — the connection credentials are no longer usable. To continue, activate a new proxy; the dashboard's overview links you straight to activation when everything has expired. If you need the same exit region, choose the same location and server where available.
Rotating server and changing location
- Rotate moves your proxy to a different available server, giving you a new exit. It depends on an alternative being available at that moment.
- Change location picks another country or city for the proxy, again subject to availability for your plan.
- Mobile network conditions can change the exit IP on their own; buying or renewing a plan does not guarantee a fixed exit IP.
Cancellation
You can cancel a proxy from the dashboard at any time. Cancellation revokes the proxy with the provider, after which the credentials stop working. Per the terms of service, activated proxies are final and non-refundable, except for technical failures within 24 hours of activation — in that case contact support.
Can I share one proxy with several people?
NoxProxy does not offer sub-user or per-seat access on a single proxy. A proxy has one set of connection credentials tied to your account. If two or three people need access, each person should activate their own proxy from their own account — this keeps authentication, rotation and renewal independent per user. You may manage your own proxies from multiple devices with your account credentials.
